A Place to Rest and Celebrate – in Nature  Two years ago, during Covid, my wife Irina and I would take occasional trips around Northern California. During one such trip, we were near Oregon along the beautiful Smith River, about 45 minutes northeast of Crescent City. We needed a place to sleep. Supporting Science Overcoming Disease

Did you know there is an island of plastic trash in the Pacific Ocean three times the size of France? 8,000,000 metric tons of discarded plastic finds its way into the ocean EVERY YEAR. That is the equivalent of setting five garbage bags full of trash on every foot of coastline around the world.
