Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Maria traded the Midwest for Napa Valley in 2006 and has called wine country home ever since. With more than 15 years of experience in hospitality and events and nearly 90 weddings under her belt, she brings a wealth of experience, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm to weddings and events at V. Sattui.

Maria has always had a passion for bringing people together and creating experiences that feel thoughtful, personal, and memorable. Over the years, she has planned and executed more than 600 winery events, built and led successful event programs, and earned multiple WeddingWire and The Knot awards for her work as a wedding planner. Her experience has taught her that the best events are the ones where every detail is thoughtfully handled, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the moment.

Whether she’s helping a couple envision their wedding day, welcoming a corporate group to wine country, or bringing a special winery event to life, Maria loves finding the details that make each gathering feel unique. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in exceptional hospitality.

And yes, the obsession with events follows her home. Maria can frequently be found scrolling the latest wedding trends on TikTok, saving ideas and keeping an eye on what’s next in the industry. When she isn’t planning an event, she loves reading, traveling, exploring Napa Valley, discovering great food and wine, and spending time with her family.
