With four years of active military service and six years in the National Guard under his belt, Gordon is no stranger to precision and hard work. He puts those qualities to work every day as V. Sattui’s CFO.

Raised near Saint Louis, Missouri, Gordon came to the winery as a staff accountant in 1998, not long after he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting. He had no real work experience, but he immediately developed a rapport with Dario, who he says gave him the chance to succeed. Gordon says, “All that I’ve obtained in my career is due to experiences that I had and decisions that were made early on at V. Sattui Winery. I wouldn’t be where I am now without that.”

He describes V. Sattui as the busiest winery in the Napa Valley, but appreciates his quiet office, which gives him the right environment to think and work. He appreciates his great staff and his relationships at V. Sattui, and the feeling that if you work hard enough, you can achieve any goal.
