Preparations are already in the making for Napa Valley’s most sensational event of the fall season – V. Sattui’s Annual Harvest Ball. Celebrating its 36th year in 2021, this spectacular soiree promises to be an unforgettable affair. World-class entertainment, transcendent culinary delights and, of course, a selection of highly-acclaimed wines will be yours to indulge in as you revel in the sights, sounds and flavors of the biggest party of the year!

Arrive dressed to the nines in your finest black-tie attire and sip sparkling wine as you stroll our Tuscan-inspired winery’s beautifully manicured grounds. Take in the magical scene of twilight over the vineyards before you settle in under the big-top for a multi-course gourmet meal. This culinary journey through Italy prepared by our own Michelin Star Chef, Stefano Masanti will be expertly paired with our top tier wines – including our highest-rated Cabernets, perfectly-aged large formats and other rare selections. Savor course after exquisite course until you hit gastronomic paradiso then loosen your bow-tie and get ready to boogie the night away to a live musical stage show.

Returning Michelin Star CHEF STEFANO MASANTI

We are honored to once again showcase the incredible cuisine of our dear friend and celebrated chef Stefano Masanti.  V. Sattui Winery is the only winery in the United States that has an in-house chef who has been awarded a Michelin Star for the past ten years, including 2019. Chef Masanti, assisted by his chef de cuisine from his acclaimed restaurant in the Italian Alps, Il Cantinone, will prepare a multi-course meal that is the ultimate Italian gastronomical experience.

This gourmet “journey” through Italy will be preceded by a selection of decadent appetizers accompanied by sparkling wine followed by rare and older vintages, highly-acclaimed cabernets, blends, reserve wines, Jeroboams and Nebuchadnezzars.  Our most-coveted dessert wines will be served with Chef Masanti’s sweet finale.


The “After Party” in our underground Barrel Aging Cellars

Adjourn to our underground Barrel Cellars, which will be transformed into a rhythmic dance lounge, complete with intimate tables, dim lights, and private rooms to taste special wines. You’ll enjoy luscious desserts, small plates and dancing to soul-injected tunes. To top it all off, our award-winning Port and Madeira and cigars will be available on our terraces under the stars.

Harvest Ball attendees are invited to join our team in our Member’s Cellar Club to enjoy special wine tastings, older vintages, and large format wines.  Take this time to visit your 2019 Wine Futures and delight in delicacies including puff di fromaggio, arancini lollipops, and house-cured bresaola.  Reservation required.  Complimentary to Harvest Ball attendees.

Friday, Sept. 16th

10:00am – 12:00pm ~ RUTHERFORD AVA EXPERIENCE (Preston & Morisoli Vineyards)
Meet the growers of our Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon wines and walk the vineyard during the height of the 2020 growing season.  Get up close and personal with our finest Cabernet fruit as you feel the crunch of the alluvial soils beneath your feet.  Pair this experience with a hearty Cab tasting paired with soon-to-be harvested grapes amongst the vines.

Friday, Sept. 16th

4:00pm – 6:00pm ~ CHEF’S TABLE WINE & FOOD PAIRING
The dynamic duo of Michelin Star Chef Stefano Masanti and Wine & Food Pairing Expert Marc Golick join forces for an epic exploration of wine and food and the science behind the perfect pairings.  Witness and learn as these entertaining experts demonstrate live food preparations as you savor and sip through six inspiring creations paired exquisitely with V. Sattui’s top tier wines.

Come to our fabulous Sunday brunch featuring house-made Italian pastries, Eggs Benedict, omelet station, salmon, frittata, sparkling wine, and V. Sattui’s signature brunch cocktail – mimosas made with crushed grapes freshly harvested from the vineyard.
