2011 Sattui Family Chardonnay
Fermented in stainless steel and aged in seasoned (older) oak, a beautiful balance is achieved with nice fruit reminiscent of Granny Smith apples; just a trace of butteriness and oak held well in check. The aromatics and flavors of this wine are not in competition with one another as is the case with so many California Chardonnays.
