Our estate-bottled Sémillon, a dry white with a little Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay for added complexity and acidity, is grown at our Carsi Vineyard in Yountville. With excellent texture and a nutty, figgy character, enjoy now with light salads seafood dishes.
Sourced from three Napa Valley vineyards, this beautifully structured Sauvignon Blanc has balanced acidity along with a subtle grassiness and fig-like quality. Pairs wonderfully with chicken Caesar salad.
We use the same seductive Muscat of Alexandria grape as for the sweet Muscat; we just make it in a crisper, drier style. This is accomplished by picking a little earlier, when the acids are a little higher, and fermenting it a little longer, so as to reduce the residual sugar in the finished wine. It has an intense, floral aroma, and its pale-clear color belies its abundant flavors, rich with honeysuckle, green apple and ripe peach.
We don’t make much of this wine; some years we don’t make any. But those who have had this crisp, medium-sweet blend of Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Marsanne, Roussanne and Semillon know that it’s one of our best values…and the perfect buffet and party wine.
