Wine Country Wildfire Update - V. Sattui Winery

Wine Country Wildfire Update

Updated October 17, 2017

Status of V. Sattui Winery + How You Can Help

Dear Friends of V. Sattui Winery,

Our sincerest thanks for everyone’s outpouring of concern during this trying time in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. We are truly grateful for your messages of support and are extremely fortunate to report that our winery itself has not been affected by the fires.  Our hearts are with our neighbors, colleagues and their families who have been affected by the wildfires and less fortunate than ourselves.

We are pleased to announce V. Sattui is OPEN Daily (as of yesterday, October 16th).  We welcome your friendly faces!

For those of you awaiting wine + gift deliveries:  We are pleased to tell you Fedex picked up yesterday and your orders are out for delivery!  Thank you for your patience while we experienced interference with Fedex and UPS accessibility due to road closures.  Please be on the lookout for tracking emails from our carriers.

For those of you interested in offering assistance to fire victims:

Please visit to make a donation to the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund.  We are eager to take action towards the recovery, and to assist in these efforts, V. Sattui Winery and Castello di Amorosa will be making a joint contribution of $100,000 to the Napa Valley Community Foundation (NVCF) Disaster Relief Fund. The NVCF will be distributing grants from this fund to organizations providing crucial services for those impacted by the fires including, but not limited to: medical care, temporary shelter, meals and counseling.

Other ways you can help the Wine Industry?

Buy Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley wines!  Buy them for yourselves and buy them as gifts.  Thousands of hard-working wine industry employees are directly affected by these fires and any help you can provide to stimulate the economy and reopen these wineries will directly support our workers and their families.  SHOP >

With deep appreciation,

V. Sattui Winery

When I visited in July we enjoyed lunch from your cafe. I brought wine back home with plans to give it as a gift. We will be encouraging all of our friends and family to order from your winery. We truly enjoyed our visit and we are so glad you are safe!

So glad you are safe! After moving, I just unpacked a beautiful glass purchased from there on a great vacation out west. Very sorry for your neighbors affected.

I am glad that the the winery survived. A visit to Victor Sattui was always a highlight of any visit to the Napa Valley. The Napa Valley is one of the most beautiful places in the world in my opinion. It breaks my heart to know that it and the people who live and work there have suffered so much.

Napa Valley captured my heart the first time I saw it and news of the wildfires and their devastation is heartbreaking. I am very happy to know you are all safe at my favorite winery, the beautiful V. Sattui, and will continue to keep all those affected in my thoughts and prayers. Stay safe and strong!

We are so happy the V Sattui was not affected by the fires. We were there in 2006 and then this past July and it is the only winery we visit. We are keeping everyone in Napa & Sonoma in our prayers. It is so sad to see the devastation there in such a beautiful part of California.

I am so thankful your winery was unharmed during the fires. My husband and I spent many joyful times at your winery while we lived in San Francisco. We had lunch there so many times. When we moved back to Texas we had your wine shipped to us. I wish your winery the best of luck and a speedy recovery to all your neighbors.

So glad to hear you were not directly impacted by the horrific wild fires. Glad you guys are reaching out to help those that have been impacted. Have visited your winery a number of times, visiting from our home state of Texas. Will have to place an online order soon as your wines have been a tremendous favorite for our family and friends. God Bless.
