Grappa is an Italian brandy (43% abv) crafted from the remaining wine in the pressed grape skins after fermentation. It is richly endowed with the aromatics of these skins and bottled without the oak aging that most other brandies receive.

Clear, clean, crisp, in the glass, on the nose and on the palate. A crystal clear Grappa, it fills in a void in my spectrum of after dinner lovelies. My general inclination is for more golden grappas, many clear ones have an overpowering brutality or abruptness, delightfully lacking on this example. Lovely nose in the glass, smooth on the first taste, rolls around the mouth lusciously. Easier on the novice and more pleasing for the experienced Grappa lover than many Grappas of similar cost. I found it more pleasant than some much more expensive. On par with some of my favorites of other styles like Grappa Amarone di Bonollo
