2007 Morisoli Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2007 Morisoli Cabernet is opaque and ruby-colored, with a seductively aromatic nose of black truffle, cedar and mulberry and suggestions of mint, dusty earth and leather. On the palate, there are deep, focused flavors of black cherry, wild blackberry, dark plum and chocolate, with hints of mineral followed by a generous mid-palate, silky tannins and a long smooth finish. It shows beautiful fruit ripeness, seamless texture, and well-integrated oak and tannin. True to form, it displays the power and elegance that is so characteristic of this vineyard.
