V. Sattui sits in the heart of Napa Valley’s “red wine country,” where the region’s greatest Cabernets, Merlots and Zinfandels are made. No less than four vineyard-designated Cabernet Sauvignons are produced each year, including the always spectacular Preston Vineyard and Morisoli Vineyard Cabernets, and up to seven single-vineyard Zinfandels as well, most notably from Black-Sears Vineyard on Howell Mountain. Our Henry Ranch in Carneros produces lovely Pinot Noir and Merlot.

From the Dry Creek Valley renowned for world-class Zinfandels. This Zinfandel is solidly built, yet shows remarkable constraint and a slight edge of spiciness.
Just released, this delicately-flavored young Pinot has smooth drinkability and bright cherry fruit, with enticing herbal and earthy aromas followed by ripe black cherry and pomegranate flavors.
The 35th Anniversary is a fruit-forward Zin, with abundant berry and spice aromas, medium tannins and a sweet, jammy finish. Its aromatic wild-berry character makes it a wonderful complement to spicy chicken and lamb dishes or old-fashioned, slow-cooked, barbequed ribs
This premium proprietary blend which we have named Paradiso (Pahr-a DEEZ-0h) is from the vaunted 2007 vintage, widely considered one of the finest of the past decade or more. The blend is 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 4% Cabernet Franc.
OLD-VINE ZINFANDEL
Pilgrim Vineyard is a 12-acre parcel in the Lodi AVA (American Viticultural Area,) owned and tended by Joel and Martine Herche, who, after moving sixteen times in sixteen years due to education job changes, settled on this neglected vineyard and named it for John Bunyan’s work, The Pilgrim’s Progress. The vines are certified to be at least 56 years old but are reputed to be much older.
This is a deeply refined Syrah, brimming with blueberry, pepper and spice. Lush and with supple tannins, it’s a complex wine to be enjoyed now and over the next three or years!

Our new Doctor's Vineyard Pinot Noir from the Santa Lucia Highlands has rich black cherry fruit, subtle leather and intense spice leading to a silky, satisfying finish.
OLD-VINE ZINFANDEL
Quaglia Vineyard is actually two separate vineyards here in St. Helena, about a mile apart. One parcel is on Spring Street on the west side of town; the other is on Pratt Avenue, just north of town. Both have been in the Quaglia family for more than seventy years and both sport beautiful and gnarly old head-pruned vines, some over eighty years old.
