Award Winning Wines

Over the past 35 years, V. Sattui has been awarded numerous Platinum, Double Gold and Gold medals, and 90+ point scores from the likes of the Wine Spectator and other leading wine reviewers. V. Sattui has won the prestigious honor of Winery of the Year at the California State Fair 3 times in the past six years. 2013 has already proved to be a bountiful year for the winery, where the 2009 Paradiso (Bordeaux-style red blend) beat out more than 800 entries at the International Winemaker Challenge in San Diego and walked away with a Best of Class.  At the same event, V. Sattui also took a Platinum Medal with its 2009 Preston Vineyard Cabernet and received recognition as 2013 Winery of the Year for the second year in a row!

V. Sattui was named 2012 Winery of the Year for the second year in a row at the Monterey Wine Competition.   We also ranked as the most highly awarded winery in both the 2012 & 2013 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competitions!

Additionally, V. Sattui Winery was named 2012 "Best Winery" in the San Francisco Bay Guardian's 38th annual "Best of the Bay" Readers Poll, making it two years in a row for this coveted Bay Area award.  Thank you to all of our Bay Area fans for voting!
