The grapes for this wine come from Preston Vineyard located in the Rutherford Appellation, an area where some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon in Napa Valley is grown. The region is known for its gravelly soils which produce rich and opulent red wines with fine-grained tannins and incredible complexity.

Since 1994 V. Sattui has been producing stellar Cabernets from tiny Morisoli Vineyard, located in the very heart of Napa Valley’s Rutherford Appellation, planted in the deep rich soils on the western Napa Valley floor, just west of the small town of Rutherford.
With a seductively aromatic nose of black truffle, cedar and mulberry this Morisoli Cabernet has suggestions of mint, dusty earth and leather.
